Responsibilities
- Establishing and guiding the website’s architecture.
- Designing and implementing new features and functionality.
- Ensuring high-performance and availability.
- Quickly iterate through any changes required by the team.
- Enhancing and optimizing custom WordPress themes and plugins.
Requirements
- A passion for design and a strong portfolio that can demonstrate your skills.
- Strong understanding of PHP back-end development.
- Working experience with WordPress custom plugins.
- Working knowledge of building and maintaining custom WordPress themes.
- Good understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, pure CSS, pre-processors (e.g. SCSS, SASS, LESS), CSS frameworks such as ZURB Foundation and Bootstrap CSS, JavaScript, ES6 and beyond, and jQuery.
- Experience with common web compilation and bundling frameworks including Webpack, Babel, and Gulp.
- Experience building responsive user interfaces for websites and/or web applications across different platforms and browsers
- Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML)
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial
- Fluent English. Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to hit deadlines.
- Extremely organized and detail-oriented

- Undergraduate degree in Architecture or deep Architectural knowledge
- Familiarity with AMP technology
